BACKGROUND
Arising from MCL grand Vision and Mission, the Training Project was created to:-
Enable MCL School of Finance come up with Training Policy that will facilitate the achievement of the Vision and Mission,
Build the leading Finance School in the country,
Institutionalize MCL School of Finance as a world class Finance Training Institute rated locally as the fastest growing and most impactful Finance Training Centre.

MCL is currently expanding its capital base, as evident by the private placement initiative of 2008,
Relocation of the corporate Head Office from NUJ Light House, 3/5 Adeyemo Alakija Street, Victoria Island, Lagos to 246A, Muri Okunola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos,
Appointment of a seasoned professional trainer as Director of Training and Development, to drive the training function,
Recruitment of required support staff, including a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) for the Training function (on-going),
Funding establishment of MCL School of Finance,
Sweetcorn Training Support arising from its commercialization.
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIPS
MCL School of Finance will pursue strategic partnerships with world class training and development service providers in the pursuit of global excellence and best practice,
Efforts in this direction are on-going with local and international potential allies.
OVERSEAS TRAINING
We will exploit opportunities in other countries of the world to source appropriate Human Capital Development programmes for Middle and Senior Executives in client organizations.
SKILLS AUDIT AND INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL MANAGEMENT
MCL will conduct empirically, skills audit in client organization with a view to determining actual competency gaps and to ensure that training intervention addresses actual identified competency gaps, thus optimizing mutual resources
We will assist clients in installing appropriate Intellectual Capital Management Systems, following from the outcomes of empirical skills audit and training need identification.

MCL School of Finance recognition schemes shall include but not be limited to the following awards:
Associateship of MCL School of Finance-
v may be conferrable on persons who have completed Modules 1,2 and 3 of its curriculum, among other criteria such as:-
v Ethical/Professional standing,
v contributions to the development of the financial services industry,
v General respectability of such persons.
Fellowship of MCL School of Finance–
v May be conferrable on Associates who have made: - outstanding contributions to the development of the financial services industry in general, and to MCL School of Finance in particular.
